For this month’s Staff Spotlight, we’re excited to introduce you to Ebony Wilborn, our Product Support Specialist: Ebony started with Emphasys Software as a Product Support Specialist on January 16, 2024. She possesses over eight years of LIPH experience working with Elite software at the Housing Authority of Baltimore City and HUD Baltimore office. Before housing, Ebony was a computer teacher for grades K-8 and also served as a technology guide for instructors. She has extensive experience working with and training others on PIC, Elite, and other HUD Secure Systems including EIV. With a background in Educational Technology, she loves supporting learners and providing guidance to help them be successful in their positions. As a leader in customer service, she lives by the motto- “Never overpromise but always over-deliver.” Ebony resides in Baltimore, Maryland, and is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She is a mother of two beautiful little girls, Jerzi (14) and Jordin (9), and one fur baby, Foxy. Ebony enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, eating delicious food, traveling, and shopping for great deals.

- What is the most used app on your phone? The calendar app – I plan my whole life.
- If you could be somebody else at Emphasys for a day, who would you be? I would be Teresa Donelson – she knows everything!
- If you had an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? Take a long walk with my daughters Jerzi & Jordin and our dog Foxy.
- The zombie apocalypse is coming; who are three people you want on your team? John Wick, Andy (Charlize Theron) from the Old Guard, and Idris Elba because why not?
- What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Butter Pecan
