I started with Emphasys in March 2024 after spending 12 years in the Housing Authority accounting field, including seven years as the Director of Finance for the Housing Authority of Owensboro (Kentucky). I got my start in the industry working for a small competitor of Emphasys (Urlaub and Co. out of Ada, Oklahoma)!
Most recently I worked with the Nevada Governor’s Finance Office to help manage Nevada’s response to the pandemic and the resulting $3 billion the state received from the Federal government. I currently reside in Las Vegas with my husband and our too many cats. I can most often be found watching The Real Housewives of Wherever, scrolling the Target app, or reading an unrealistic romance novel where somehow every cowboy/bookseller/innkeeper is rich.

- If you could be somebody else at Emphasys for a day, who would you be? Andrea Hartt – not only is she hilarious, but she knows the software like the back of her hand.
- If you had an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? I’d like to say solving world peace or something equally philosophical, but I’d probably just sleep.
- The zombie apocalypse is coming; who are three people you want on your team? Brennan Lee Mulligan, Bryan Danielson, and Taylor Swift.
- What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Mint Chocolate Chip
